Abide in the Shadow of the Almighty

Psalm 91:1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
This verse gives us a wonderful promise for those who dwell with God. To dwell with God means to remain in close fellowship with Him each day. As you abide in God through prayer, worship, and His Word, you experience the peace and security of His presence.
God promises to be your refuge and protector. This is what abide in the shadow of the Almighty means. This does not mean you will never face hardship, but it does mean that He will be with you through every trial. He is your safe place, your strength, and your constant help in every circumstance.
Draw near to Him today and trust Him with every area of your life. Rest in the shadow of the Almighty, knowing that He is faithful to care for you.~ Jeff M Newman
