Matthew 10:32-33 (NIV) “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.
Jesus is calling you to publicly declare your faith to others. Jesus wants you to stand firm in your faith. The promise is that when you do so, He will acknowledge you before the Father in heaven.
Don't be quiet about your relationship with Jesus.

Lesson 24 - The Commandments of Jesus - Part 2
Welcome back to the Hope Bible School verse-by-verse Bible study of 1 John. This is Jeff M Newman. Get a new lesson every other week on Monday at 12:00 PM Eastern. In Lesson 23 we studied part 1 of “The Commandments of Jesus.” Now we are going to dive into part 2.
Serve Others
It shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, (Matthew 20:26) In this passage Jesus is teaching about leadership and servanthood. Jesus explains that true greatness doesn’t come from being in a position of authority, but rather in serving others.
