This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
When you give your life to Christ, your life will completely change. Over time you will become more and more like Jesus. Your identity will be in Christ. You will stop doing the things that you used to and start doing things in a different way. You will have a different perspective on life. You will see life through the eyes of faith. ~ Jeff M Newman

Listen to: Lesson 50 - 1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they did not belong to us.
Lesson 5 - 1 John 1:1...and touched with our own hands...
Welcome back to our verse-by-verse Bible study of 1 John. Last lesson we focused on how God wants you to gaze upon Him, to be transfixed by Him, to really study Him, to analyze Him, to look closely at and behold Him, to believe in Him, and to fix your eyes on Him.
Jesus Upholds All Things
The Son is the radiance of Godโs glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. (Hebrews 1:3)
