But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15)
You have a choice whether you serve the Lord or serve idols. An idol is anything that takes your focus and affection away from the Lord. You are bombarded with opportunities to turn away from the Lord every day. Is there anything in your life that is pulling you away from a relationship with the Lord? Make this declaration right now: “As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Keep repeating this to yourself throughout the day. ~ Jeff M Newman
