Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38)
Jesus has compassion on people and wants them to receive the gospel. He says that there are many people that are ready to receive the gospel. That is what He means by, "the harvest is plentiful."
However, there is a need for workers to go out and spread the gospel. Jesus commands you to pray to the Lord of the harvest, asking Him to send out workers into His harvest.
Ask that God uses your life to reach others with the Gospel. Make this command from Jesus a regular part of your routine. ~ Jeff M Newman

Eternal Life Is All About Knowing God
Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. (John 17:3) Eternal life is all about knowing God. In this verse, the word "know" means to have a deep, intimate, and experiential relationship with God. It goes beyond mere intellectual knowledge of God.
