Ephesians 4:26-27 “Be angry, yet do not sin.”Do not let the sun set upon your anger, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold.
In context, Paul is teaching Christians how their lives should change now that they are believers. The Bible doesn’t teach that all anger is sinful. Anger can be a proper response to injustice, sin, or something that dishonors God. The issue is what we do with our anger and whether we allow it to lead us into sin.
Paul tells us, “Do not let the sun set upon your anger.” This is a warning against allowing anger to linger and take root in our hearts. Unresolved anger can grow into bitterness, resentment, and division and can damage our relationships with others. Paul warns that when we allow anger to remain unresolved, we can “give the devil a foothold.”
Do you have unresolved anger toward someone? Bring that anger to God. Ask Him to help you forgive that person and deal with what is happening in your heart. Ask the Holy Spirit to remove bitterness and give you the strength to respond with patience, grace, and self-control.
Don’t allow anger to take root in your heart. Bring it to Christ and allow Him to transform the way you respond to those who hurt you.~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Feed the hungry, cloth the naked, give a drink to those who are thirsty, take in a stranger, visit the sick, and visit those in prison.
Matthew 25:31-46 When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, 36 I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 When did we see You sick or in prison and visit You?’ 40 And the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’ 41 Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ 44 And they too will reply, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then the King will answer, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me.’ 46 And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
