But He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” (Luke 11:28)
Jesus promises that if you hear the word of God and obey it, you will be blessed. The first step to a blessed life is to spend time hearing the word of God.
You can do this by reading the Bible out loud, listening to sermons, listening to worship songs, saying memory verses out loud, and having Biblical conversations with other believers. Next, write down the things that God is asking you to do.
Review this list regularly. Pray about this list. Ask God to search your heart and to reveal if you are doing those things. Ask God for the strength, grace, and wisdom to obey. Then, plan these commands into your life. Read Matthew 5:1-12.
If you have any prayer requests, please share them in the comments.

Jesus Has Absolute Authority
The Father loves the Son and has placed all things in His hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:35) God the Father loves Jesus and has given Him absolute authority over all things, as well as the authority to grant eternal life.
