Be Doers Of The Word

James 1:22

Be doers of the word, and not hearers only. Otherwise, you are deceiving yourselves. (James 1:22)

When you are reading the Bible or listening to a sermon, ask God: “What are You asking me to do?” Once He shows you what He wants you to do, pray: “God, give me the strength, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to obey what You are asking me to do.” Following Jesus involves obeying everything that He has commanded us to do.(Matthew 28:19-20) ~ Jeff M Newman
