Be Doers Of The Word, And Not Hearers Only
James 1:22
Be doers of the word, and not hearers only. Otherwise, you are deceiving yourselves. (James 1:22)
If you read the Word and ask God to show you how to behave, He will faithfully show you. However, it is crucial that you do the things He asks. As you read the Word, write down the things God is showing you to do. For example, God says to "be thankful in all things." Write this down. Read it daily and ask God if you are being thankful in all things. If not, ask Him for the strength to be thankful. Work on turning thankfulness into a daily discipline. Over time, add other commands to your list and continue growing spiritually.~ Jeff M Newman
