Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you. (Ephesians 4:31-32)

Take a hard look at your life. Do you have any bitterness? Are you angry and lash out at people? Are you slandering people? Do you desire to do evil against people? God is asking that you get rid of these things. It’s almost as if these are physical things in your life that you need to put in the trash dumpster to be removed. If it helps, make a list of these areas, then crumple them up and throw the sheet of paper away. Then, replace this by being kind and tenderhearted to others. How do we do this? We do this by remembering how Christ has forgiven us. Christ went to the cross to pay for our sins. He died for your bitterness, rage, anger, slander, malice, and insults against people.

You, O LORD, Sit Enthroned Forever
But You, O LORD, sit enthroned forever; Your renown endures to all generations. (Psalm 102:12) God sits on the throne for eternity. The kingdoms of men come and go but God is always there. The hope of man is not based on a man that will die and be forgotten, but on the eternal God. God is our forever protector. ~ Jeff M Newman…
