Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. (Luke 6:36)
God wants you to be merciful. To be merciful means to be compassionate. It means helping those in need. It means loving someone rather than condemning them. The Father had mercy on us by sending Jesus to pay the penalty for our sins on the cross, even though we were sinners. If you want to be more merciful, take the time to understand how merciful God is to you. ~ Jeff M Newman
