Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.(Matthew 5:48)
Jesus sets a high standard for you to achieve. It is impossible to attain this standard by your own strength.
The good news is that Jesus will provide you with the strength you need to reach this standard. However, it requires your continual submission, through faith, to His work in your life.
Over time, He will transform you into His image and assist you every step of the way, but you must believe in Him and allow Him to work within you for your transformation. ~ Jeff M Newman
