Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. (Matthew 5:9)
Jesus wants you to be a peacemaker. In other words, Jesus wants you to resolve any conflicts you have with others.
Jesus is the ultimate peacemaker. He resolved the conflict that you have with God by dying on the cross.
By believing in Jesus, you can have peace with God, because Jesus paid the penalty to satisfy the wrath of God for the sin in your life.
He went to great lengths to help you make peace with God. Take action to make peace with others in your life and be a blessed child of God. ~ Jeff M Newman

Listen now (41 mins) | Welcome back to the Hope Bible School verse-by-verse Bible study of 1 John. This is Jeff M Newman. Get a new lesson every other week on Monday at 12:00 PM Eastern. In Lesson 22 we learned about the importance of keeping Jesus’ commandments. Let’s read the verse.
Be Generous
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38) Jesus is asking us to be be generous. Right before this verse Jesus speaks about being loving to your enemies and blessing those that curse you.
