Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. (Matthew 5:9)
When you are born again, because you have placed your faith in Christ, you become a child of God. As a child of God, His Spirit begins to shape your character so that you reflect His nature. One aspect of God’s nature is peacemaking. God took the initiative to reconcile sinful humanity to Himself through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.
Because you belong to Him, He calls you to imitate His heart for peace. When you face conflict or tension with others, ask God to help you reflect His peacemaking nature. Pray for the strength, humility, and wisdom to seek reconciliation rather than reacting in anger or escalating the situation. As He works in you, He empowers you to pursue peace the way He pursued peace with you.~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Pay your taxes.
Mark 12:13-17 Later, they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to catch Jesus in His words. 14 “Teacher,” they said, “we know that You are honest and seek favor from no one. Indeed, You are impartial and teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not? Should we pay them or not?” 15 But Jesus saw through their hypocrisy and said, “Why are you testing Me? Bring Me a denarius to inspect.” 16 So they brought it, and He asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?” “Caesar’s,” they answered. 17 Then Jesus told them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” And they marveled at Him. (Matthew 22:15-22, Mark 12:13-17, Luke 20:25)
