Build Your House on the Rock

Matthew 7:24

Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. (Matthew 7:24)

If you want to build your life on a solid foundation then it is crucial to not just read or listen to God’s word but to act upon God’s word. When you are listening to a sermon or reading the Bible take note of what God is telling you to do. Write it down. Pray for the strength to obey it. Put it in your planner. Create a daily alert on your phone. Write the word on a note and paste it on your wall. Then, do what it says. Keep reminding yourself and keeping acting upon the word. ~ Jeff M Newman
