1 Timothy 1:1-2

1 Timothy 1:1-2 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope, 2 To Timothy, my true child in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
This is a greeting from Paul to Timothy. He reminds Timothy that Christ Jesus is our hope. Let hope in Christ sustain you through difficult times. Be grounded in that hope, and remember that grace, mercy, and peace come from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. ~ Jeff M Newman
