Christ Lives in Me
Galatians 2:20

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
In this verse, we learn that when Christ gave Himself for us on the cross, we were crucified with Him. Through faith, we are united with Him, and now Christ lives in us.
Because of this, we have a new identity. We are now Christians, those in whom Christ dwells. Even the word Christian reminds us of our identity in Christ. While it literally means “belonging to Christ,” it also points us back to the truth that Christ lives in us. The next time you hear the word Christian, let it remind you, Christ is in you.
This new life is not about trying harder, but about trusting the One who lives within us and gives us the power to live for Him. So put your faith in Jesus. ~ Jeff M Newman
