Who, existing in the form of God,
did not consider equality with God
something to be grasped,
but emptied Himself,
taking the form of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
He humbled Himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross.
(Philippians 2:5-8)
God is calling us to serve others like Jesus. Jesus is the perfect example of a servant. Even though He was the King of all, He became the servant of all.
Look for ways that you can serve others.
If you are not sure what you can do, ask God to open up opportunities to serve. When an opportunity comes your way, humble yourself and take action.
