Hebrews 13:9 Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace and not by foods of no value to those devoted to them.
This verse encourages you not to drift into strange teachings. This refers to false teachings, legalism, or religious systems that pull people away from the truth of the gospel. Your life as a Christian is sustained and strengthened by God’s grace, not by religious performance, rituals, or external rules.
People are often quick to create burdens, man-made rules, or spiritual trends that they want others to follow. Be careful not to be led astray by these things. Stay rooted in the gospel and focused on Jesus Christ.
Fill yourself with God’s Word and learn to abide in Christ daily. Let your heart be strengthened by His grace and place your trust in Him alone. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Worship Jesus sacrificially.
Matthew 26:6-13 While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, 7 a woman came to Him with an alabaster jar of expensive perfume, which she poured on His head as He reclined at the table. 8 When the disciples saw this, they were indignant and asked, “Why this waste? 9 This perfume could have been sold at a high price, and the money given to the poor.” 10 Aware of this, Jesus asked, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful deed to Me. 11 The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have Me. 12 By pouring this perfume on Me, she has prepared My body for burial. 13 Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached in all the world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.” (Mark 14:3-9, Luke 7:44-47, John 12:7)

Thank you for sharing this brother. This is such an important reminder for believers today because there are so many voices, teachings, opinions, and doctrines trying to pull people away from the simplicity and truth of Christ. Scripture continually warns us to stay grounded in God’s Word and not be carried away by every new idea or trend that sounds spiritual but is not rooted in truth. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace. Hebrews 13:9 True spiritual stability comes through abiding in Christ, knowing scripture, prayer, humility, and walking daily with the Lord. I also think many believers today are tempted to follow personalities, emotions, or worldly wisdom more than the clear teaching of God’s Word. But Paul warned that the time would come when people would not endure sound doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:3 That is why discernment is so important in this generation. We must test everything by scripture and remain faithful to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 What encourages me is that God is faithful to keep His people steady when our hearts remain rooted in Him. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3 Thank you again brother. This was a beautiful encouragement to remain anchored in grace, truth, and the unchanging Word of God in a world full of confusion and distraction.
