Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. (James 4:8)
God desires a deeper relationship with you. Ask Him to search your heart and reveal anything that is offensive to Him (Psalm 139:23–24). Allow Him to lead you to Scriptures that speak directly to the areas where you struggle. Write those verses down, study them, and commit them to memory. Pray for the strength and grace to walk in victory through the power of the Holy Spirit. As you repent and turn away from sin, you will draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).~ Jeff M Newman
