If you know that He is righteous, you also know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of Him. (1 John 2:29)
If you have a personal relationship with God and know that He is righteous, you will live a life that reflects Him. This is the normal effect of being born again. And as you walk in obedience and practice righteousness, your fellowship with Him deepens and your assurance grows.
Do not be discouraged by your imperfections. Keep taking steps toward the Lord. You will be met by His grace, His strength, and His love. He will help you every step of your life as you learn to practice righteousness. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Believe in Jesus.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies.
John 12:35 Then Jesus told them, “For a little while longer, the Light will be among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. 36 While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of light.”
John 20:27-29 Then Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.” 28 Thomas replied, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” 30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book. 31 But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.
