Faith and Love Proceeding From the Hope Stored Up for You in Heaven
Colossians 1:3-6

Colossians 1:3-6 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all the saints— 5 the faith and love proceeding from the hope stored up for you in heaven, of which you have already heard in the word of truth, the gospel 6 that has come to you.
This letter was written by the apostle Paul. He begins with thankfulness because of the believers in Colossae and their faith in Christ.
Paul ties their faith and love to the hope stored up for them in heaven. As believers, we will one day enjoy eternal fellowship with Jesus.
We will see Him, and we will be transformed to be like Him. For all who believe the gospel, this is the secure future God has promised.
