False Christs and False Prophets Will Appear and Perform Great Signs and Wonders

Matthew 24:23-25 At that time, if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive even the elect, if that were possible. 25 See, I have told you in advance.
This is Jesus speaking to His disciples as part of the Olivet Discourse. Jesus warns His followers not to be unaware of false Christs and false prophets who will come to deceive many people. He says that they may even perform great signs and wonders, making their deception very convincing.
Because of this, believers are called to be spiritually alert, discerning, and prepared. This is why it is so important to study the Scriptures daily and compare every teaching with the Word of God. Not every spiritual claim or supernatural sign comes from God.
