But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4)
In context, Jesus was in the wilderness fasting for 40 days. Satan tempted Jesus to turn stones into bread. Jesus responded to the temptation by quoting Deuteronomy 8:3. He showed us that life is not just about fulfilling our physical needs but also about fulfilling our spiritual needs. To fulfill our spiritual needs, we must fill our lives with God’s word. Spend time today feeding your soul with the life-giving truth of God’s word.~ Jeff M Newman

God Is Able To Make All Grace Abound To You
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:8)
