Fight the Good Fight of the Faith
1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made the good confession before many witnesses. (1 Timothy 6:12)
When you put your faith in Christ, you will receive eternal life. Eternal life is a free gift from God (Romans 6:23). However, you need to understand that there is a war going on all around you for souls. There are spiritual forces of wickedness that want to prevent people from receiving eternal life (Ephesians 6:12). God has called you into this battle for souls. He has called you to fight for souls and to preach the good news of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection so that people can have an eternal relationship with God. God is calling you to lay aside everything that is hindering you in order to fight this fight (Hebrews 12:1). Let God use your life to win souls (Proverbs 11:30). ~ Jeff M Newman
