Fix Your Eyes on Jesus

Hebrews 12:2

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)

Life is full of challenges. Jesus understands challenges. Jesus endured crucifixion. While enduring the pain of the cross, Jesus focused on the joy set before Him. He knew that His suffering wouldn’t last forever. Even though you may be going through a difficult time, set your focus on God and the joy of having an eternal relationship with Him in Heaven. God will help you through your struggles and one day you will see Him face to face. The Bible says that in God’s presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). Fix your eyes on Jesus, who will lead you through your challenges and to the ultimate joy.
