If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. (Matthew 6:14)
God wants to free you from the bondage of unforgiveness. Unforgiveness can destroy your life. It is a burden that will prevent you from experiencing a deep relationship with God and others.
Jesus died on the cross to atone for your sins so that you could receive forgiveness. Because of the forgiveness that God has extended to you, He calls you to forgive others.
Reflect on the individuals who have upset you, caused you harm, or hurt you. Now, forgive them for their wrongs. Release the weight of unforgiveness you carry toward others and entrust it to the Lord. ~ Jeff M Newman
