Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:13-16)
God is calling you to gird up the loins of your mind. This means preparing your mind for battle. There are influences in this world that are seeking to pull your mind away from focusing on Jesus. These are influences that can intoxicate you and lure you away from God. There is a war for your mind. God is calling you to be sober in your mind, to focus on His grace, and to live a life of holiness. ~ Jeff M Newman

I Will Sing To The LORD
I will sing to the LORD, for He has been good to me. (Psalm 13:6) Think of all the ways God has been good to you. Spend some time today singing to Him and praising Him for all the amazing things that He has done in your life and will do in your life. God is always with you.
