Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
It is easy to lose sight of God’s blessings when you have something to complain about. Complaining and grumbling can really ruin your day and take you to a dark place. God is calling you to be thankful no matter what happens. Build the discipline of thankfulness into your life. Thank God for all the friends you have, thank God for providing food and shelter, thank God for the amazing things you have been able to do, thank God for your work, thank God for your spouse, thank God for your family, thank God for His Word, and thank God for Jesus dying on the cross for your sins. Be thankful no matter what happens. Let God change your perspective by being thankful. ~ Jeff M Newman
