God Is Love

1 John 4:16

And we have come to know and believe the love that God has for us. God is love; whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him. (1 John 4:16)

The key to getting closer to God is to understand how much He loves you. Just look at what Jesus went through on the cross. He went to great lengths to pay the penalty for your sins. Plus, Jesus is preparing a place for you to live with Him for eternity. He is also actively teaching and helping you every single day. God’s grace and love are never-ending. Pause and meditate on all the great things God has done for you. Thank Him. Rest in His love. Receive His grace. Be OK with God continually lavishing you with His love. ~ Jeff M Newman
