Rest in God alone, O my soul, for my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor rest on God, my strong rock; my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. (Psalm 62:5-8)
When things get tough, turn to God. He is always there. He will protect you. He is your refuge. You can trust that He will keep His promises. Stop right now and let God know about all the struggles, issues, and worries that you have. Cast them at His feet. Give them to God and ask for His help. Thank Him for being your fortress and your protector. God is your rock. ~ Jeff M Newman

Lesson 2 - 1 John 1:1…which we have heard…
Welcome back to our verse-by-verse Bible study of 1 John. Last lesson we focused on how Jesus is eternal. In this lesson, we are going to focus on hearing and obeying God.
The Truth Will Set You Free
If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (John 8:31-32)
