God With Us
Matthew 1:23
“Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel” (which means, “God with us”). (Matthew 1:23)
God wants you to know what He is like. In order to do that, He became a man and lived with us. When you look at Jesus, you are seeing God, because He is God. What is Jesus like? He is sacrificial, caring, thoughtful, peaceful, compassionate, submissive, honest, truthful, prayerful, patient, merciful, forgiving, mission-minded, loving, kind, and gentle. He could have come to this earth in strength and power, but He chose to come as a little baby. Jesus loves you. ~ Jeff M Newman
