God’s Word Will Sanctify You

John 17:17

Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. (John 17:17)

This verse is a prayer of Jesus to God the Father, asking that believers be sanctified by the Word of God. To be sanctified means to be set apart, made holy, and purified. The key to sanctification is God’s Word. Read it, speak it aloud, meditate on it, memorize it, pray it, and obey it. God's Word is truth, and it will sanctify you. ~ Jeff M Newman
