If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. The penalty for sin was paid for on the cross. As a believer, you can still struggle with sin after you give your life to the Lord. Recognize where you are falling short and bring those areas to God. Be open with God about your sin struggles. Open yourself up to the work of the Holy Spirit to teach, lead and guide you. The life of the believer is a life of continual repentance. ~ Jeff M Newman
