Truly, truly, I tell you, he who believes has eternal life. (John 6:47)
If you desire eternal life, there is one crucial step you must take: believe in Jesus. To gain further insight into Jesus’ life, I recommend reading the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the Bible. These books contain firsthand accounts of Jesus’ earthly life. Within their pages, you will discover details about His birth, His ministry during His time on Earth, His sacrificial death on the cross, and His triumphant resurrection from the dead. Moreover, you will gain a profound understanding of His character and teachings.
It is well worth your time to learn more about Jesus. As you uncover the awe-inspiring aspects of who He is and the incredible offer He extends to you, your desire to believe in Him and embrace His ways will undoubtedly grow.~ Jeff M Newman

Jesus Gives Eternal Food
Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him God the Father has placed His seal of approval.” (John 6:27)
The references in John to eternal life uses the Greek aion and aionios. More properly (n) “life for the age”. Or adjective “age-during life”. Passage does not refer to unending life. The reference addresses a generation of redeemed or saved people. The context refers to “life for the duration of the 7th day” only. ie life during the millennium. Israel was being offered the kingdom of the heavens. They were a saved people. God is always satisfied with death and shed blood to atone for sin and the temple offerings were continuous and ongoing during Jesus first appearance. So eternal life is not the subject here. Life during the age out ahead was the subject. And is today for the church, the body, from which the bride will be removed. The Jewish leadership refused Christs offer killed Him and lied to the people. Today Christians as well must remain faithful in belief and produce fruit with a view to to overcoming so as to join Christ on His throne as the Bride. Ruling in that day, during that age is at stake. Unbelief remains the sin that so easily besets us. Live so that no man steals your crown, The Judgment Seat of Christ is the next event on the Divine calendar.
