Your message really encouraged me today and I appreciate how Hope Bible School keeps pointing us back to the heart of God because Zephaniah 3 :17 is such a powerful reminder that even when we feel overwhelmed or unsteady the Lord is right in the middle of our situation quieting us with His love and rejoicing over us with singing. It amazes me that the God who holds the universe still takes time to calm our hearts and guide us back into peace. The way you explained the choice we have to lean into His presence or drift into the turmoil of sin felt very real and very needed because in His presence there truly is fullness of joy and rest for our souls. The reminder from the Good Samaritan also touched me deeply since Jesus made it clear that love is not just something we talk about but something we practice and when He said Love your neighbor as yourself in Luke 10 :27 He was calling us into a life of compassion that actually costs us something. John strengthens this truth in 1 John 3 :18 where he tells us to love in deed and in truth showing that real faith always expresses itself through action. I also appreciated the focus on 1 John 3 : 1 because that verse brings us back to the center of everything reminding us to behold the great love the Father has given us a love strong enough to call us His children. Thank you for sharing this and for inviting prayer and if there is anything specific you want me to lift before the Lord I am here and grateful for the chance to stand with you in faith.
