God fulfilled the promise of overcoming death through Jesus. Jesus died on the cross and paid the penalty for your sins. He was buried. He rose from the dead on the third day. When you believe what Jesus did for you, you will have eternal life. One day you will see Jesus in heaven and live with Him forever. ~ Jeff M Newman

I was reading about the immutability of God last night and it referenced Numbers 23:19 "God is not human, that He should lie, not a human being, that He should change his mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?" Based on His unchanginness and the truth of Is 25:8, it is comforting and re-assuring of resting in the hope of Heaven thru Christ. Thanks for the devotionals :-).
