His Great Love for Us
Ephesians 2:4–5

But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2:4–5)
Paul wrote the letter to the Ephesians while he was imprisoned. In this passage, he reminds believers that before they were saved by God’s grace, they were spiritually dead in their sins. But everything changed because of the great love and rich mercy God has for us.
Let the love of God be your anchor, even when life feels uncertain or chaotic. Let the truth of His love keep you steady and secure. Ask God to fill your heart with His love so that you can reflect and share that same love with others. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Be careful how you speak, knowing that you will have to give an account for the words that you have spoken.
Matthew 12:36-37 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Matthew 15:8-11 (NIV) “ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ ”10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. 11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.” (Luke 6:45)
