Hope of Salvation
1 Thessalonians 5:4-8
(Photo by Willian Justen de Vasconcellos. Berean Standard Bible.)
1 Thessalonians 5:4-8 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief. 5 For you are all children of the light and children of the day; we do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not sleep as the others do, but let us remain awake and sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of our hope of salvation.
When you put your faith in Christ, you become a child of the day. You no longer belong to the night. Therefore, be sober and alert. Remember, your hope is in Christ. One day you will see Him face to face and live with Him for eternity. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Eat the bread of life.
John 6:47-51 Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. 50 But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”
