Humble Yourself Like A Little Child

Matthew 18:2-4

Jesus invited a little child to stand among them. “Truly I tell you,” He said, “unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:2-4)

A little child is completely dependent on their parents. When a child is hungry or thirsty, they come to their parents for provisions. They have simple faith that their parents will take care of them.

They know that they can't live their lives on their own. In order to follow Jesus, we have to accept that we cannot live this life without being completely dependent on God.

Humble yourself before God like a little child and tell Him that you are 100% dependent on Him for everything. Surrender to Him. ~ Jeff M Newman
