Humble Yourself, Pray, Seek God, and Repent
2 Chronicles 7:14
and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
In this verse, God is speaking to Solomon during the dedication of the temple. God is wanting you to do these same things today. God wants you to humble yourself. James 4:10 says, “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you.” God wants you to pray. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 says, “Pray without ceasing. 18 Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” God wants you to seek His face. Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” God wants you to repent. Luke 5:32 says, “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” ~ Jeff M Newman
