and if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
In this verse, God is speaking to Solomon during the dedication of the temple. God is wanting you to do these same things today.
God wants you to humble yourself. James 4:10 says, “James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you.”
God wants you to pray. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 says, “Pray without ceasing. 18 Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
God wants you to seek His face. Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.”
God wants you to repent. Luke 5:32 says, “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” ~ Jeff M Newman

Lesson 20 - 1 John 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
Listen now (16 mins) | Welcome back to the Hope Bible School verse-by-verse Bible study of 1 John. Get a new lesson every other week on Monday at 12:00 PM Eastern. We are now on Lesson 20 and we are going to study 1 John 2:1. But first, let’s review what we learned from 1 John 1:10
Let The Peace Of Christ Rule In Your Hearts
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for to this you were called as members of one body. And be thankful (Colossians 3:15) There is a battle going on for control of your heart. Anger, lust, fear, envy, pride, hatred, covetousness, and other devastating sins are trying to rule your life. Let Christ’s peace come into your heart today.
These are some of my favorite scriptures . Thank you for sharing !
