Husbands, Love Your Wives, Just As Christ Loved The Church
Ephesians 5:25-27
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to Himself as a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle or any such blemish, but holy and blameless. (Ephesians 5:25-27)
If you are currently a husband or planning on being married, I encourage you to make this the goal of your marriage. God is calling you to love your wife sacrificially as Christ did for you on the cross. Share the Word with your wife daily. Pray for your wife. Serve your wife. Ask God to increase your love for your wife and to give you more ways to love her. If you do what God says in these verses, you will have an amazing marriage. ~ Jeff M Newman
