I Will Behold Your Face in Righteousness
Psalm 17:15

Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will behold Your face in righteousness; when I awake, I will be satisfied in Your presence.
This psalm is attributed to David. He expresses confident hope that one day he will behold God’s face, looking forward to a future in which he stands before God in righteousness. While David did not yet have the full revelation of how this would be accomplished, he trusted that God would ultimately grant him this blessing. This hope finds clearer expression in 1 John 3:2, which teaches that when Christ appears, believers will see Him as He is. David also declares that beholding God’s face will bring complete satisfaction. This teaches that true and lasting satisfaction for the follower of Christ is found not in earthly things, but in being fully in God’s presence. ~ Jeff M Newman
