Genesis 12:1-3 Then the LORD said to Abram, “Leave your country, your kindred, and your father’s household, and go to the land I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you; and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you.”
In this passage, God calls Abram to leave his country and family and follow Him by faith to a land that He would show him. God gives Abram amazing promises. He promises to make him into a great nation, bless him, make his name great, and make him a blessing. Most importantly, God promises that all the families of the earth will be blessed through him.
This promise ultimately points to Jesus Christ, who came through Abraham’s descendants and brought salvation to people from every nation. Abram responded by trusting God and obeying Him in faith.
In a similar way, Jesus calls Christians to follow Him and participate in His mission to bring the gospel to the nations. God desires to use your life to be a blessing to others by sharing the gospel, making disciples, and helping people come to know Christ.
As you participate in the Great Commission, you are taking part in God’s plan to bring His blessing to all the families of the earth through Jesus Christ. Trust Him, follow Him, and allow Him to use your life for His purposes. ~ Jeff M Newman

Observe Jesus’ Commands
Believe Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Him.
John 14:9-11 Jesus replied, “Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me—or at least believe on account of the works themselves.
