He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. “By His stripes you are healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins. The penalty for sin is death and we are all sinners. Jesus was completely innocent but sacrificed His life in your place. Jesus did this so you could not only be forgiven of your sin but that you might turn from sin and live in God’s ways. When you believe in what Jesus did for you on the cross, you will be healed from the spiritual sickness of sin. In Heaven, you will be completely healed physically from pain, illness, and death. ~ Jeff M Newman
