Jesus Christ Is Your Advocate
1 John 2:1
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. (1 John 2:1)
God knows that you struggle with sin. He wants you to have victory over it. When you sin, God says that Jesus will advocate for you. Confess your sins to God right away and turn from them. Build relationships with other followers of Jesus so you can share your struggles and pray together. This will help you live in the light. Be accountable to them and to God in the areas where you struggle. Do not fight your battles alone. ~ Jeff M Newman
