My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. (1 John 2:1)
God knows that you struggle with sin. He wants you to have victory over your sins. When you sin, God says that Jesus will advocate for you. Confess your sins right away to God and turn away from them. Build relationships with other followers of Jesus so you can share your struggles with them and pray with them. This will help you live in the light. Be accountable to them and to God for the areas of sin in your life. Don't fight your battles alone. ~ Jeff M Newman
