For God has not appointed us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him. (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10)

God wants to save you from the wrath to come. Jesus paid the penalty for your sins by dying on the cross. When you believe this, you will be saved. When you are forgiven of your sins, you will be able to live with Jesus in Heaven for eternity. ~Jeff M Newman
