Jesus Gave Up His Life For Us

1 John 3:16

We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. (1 John 3:16)

If you want to know what real love is, look to Jesus. Jesus died on the cross for others. His love is sacrificial and giving. Spend some time meditating on how Jesus lived His life while He was physically on the earth. He helped others. He cared for them. He healed them. He taught them. He fed them. Ask God to show you ways that you can be more loving to others. ~ Jeff M Newman
